Nur al-Nahar & co
Three brothers—Shams, Shehab, and Zein—are in love. It could be wonderful…but it is not. The three are in love with Princess Nour al-Nahar. At a loss, the king sends them on a quest: for a whole year; the one who will bring back the most extraordinary object will marry the young woman…A classic, yes. But can we help wondering why n one asks Nur al-Nahar who she wishes to marry? Or in fact, if she wishes to marry at all?

Who writes them? Is there anything we can do to mend them? Do we mend society by repairing enforced collective imaginaries?
